“I love to experience all things outdoors, and as a teacher, I appreciate every outdoor learning opportunity.  My greatest passions are hiking, backpacking, and camping, but I always love a good mountain bike ride, a rock to climb, or water to explore.  As I have expanded my exposure to outdoor adventures, I have been excited by opportunities to better prepare for them, including Wilderness First Responder certification.  I grew up in Maryland, but now live in South Carolina, where I am raising my son.  I excitedly embrace every travel adventure to experience the world around me and am thrilled by opportunities to share the outdoors with others.”
